S.O.H.O. stands for Small Office Home Office, which comprises companies of about 1 – 50 employees.
SOHO Summit is about helping small business owners become profitable by empowering them to manage and grow their business. As a small business owner, and especially new ones, we can get overwhelmed by the number of tasks that need to get done, from sales and marketing, to invoicing, taxes, finding and hiring talent, contracts, legal documents, and much more!
We need access to reliable experts but don’t know where to find the RIGHT people to help with these business critical functions. SOHO Summit fills that gap.
If you are a small business owner or you work for one, or if you are thinking of starting your own business, this event is for you.
SOHO Summit has traditionally been a live, in-person event held at either the Victoria Conference Centre or the Elements Casino.
Due to the COVID-19 crisis and the need for social distancing we have decided to move the event online and hold a virtual event delivered via live video and webinar.
Yes! One-on-one coaching provided by industry experts is a highlight of this event. Whether it’s a specific challenge you are facing in your business or just something you don’t understand, you can get free one-on-one time with an industry expert.
As part of this ‘virtual’ event the 1-1 Expert Advisor sessions will be delivered via Zoom meeting (video and audio). The added advantage is that the sessions can be recorded so you can refer back to them later if you forget something.
We will post a list of experts and time slots in September. Registrants will have the opportunity to book a 15 minute time slot with the experts of their choice.
Yes, there are a number of sponsorship packages including pre-event, on-site (trade show), and post-event marketing activities to a targeted group of business owners. Contact us if you would like to receive a sponsorship package.
The event is a full day from 9am – 5pm. There are a number of different sessions and formats including speakers, panels, expert lead workshops, one-on-one advisory sessions and lots of networking opportunities.
