Jessica Natale Woollard is a freelance writer and communications professional in Victoria.

Through carefully chosen words, she brings to life the people, places, products, and ideas she writes about. She is the communications officer at the Greater Victoria Public Library, where she uses stories—and strategy—to encourage people to say yes to opportunities for lifelong learning.

In May 2019, the library’s communications team received the John Cotton Dana Award, an international prize for excellence in library public relations and marketing. As a freelance writer, Jessica’s work has appeared in BC Business, the West Jet in-flight magazine, The Costco Connection, and BC Ferries’ OnBoard Magazine.

– how to study your audience and think like them to deliver messages that will resonate and inspire people to take an action
– where to find free or low-cost resources to help you tell your story
